EDUCATIONAL TRIPS

Our personalized educational trips for university and high school students are for educators interested in hands-on learning, while making a positive impact on the flora, fauna, and communities in a world’s top ecological hotspot. Understanding permaculture processes or visiting indigenous communities are some of the systems-thinking experiences we include in our programs that are spiced with rainforest treks, waterfall swims, and wildlife observation.

Programs are always planned in advance to fit each group's schedule and requirements, but they all have in common enriched experiences that take students into new worlds.

“It was a well-run, balanced itinerary for environmental and cultural education, community service, language immersion, and adventure — an incredible experience!” Jane Kelson (Science Department Chair, Campolindo H.S., USA).

Teachers love our educational trips for their practical AP, STEAM, or IB relevance in an environment where students will safely get their hands dirty and understand real life challenges and decision making. Students can join ongoing research projects, interact in Spanish, and learn from other cultures while enjoying exciting adventures.

Our programs stimulate intercultural understanding to inspire inquiry, build confidence, and pass on the enthusiasm for conservation and sustainable choices. An immersion that not only provides a different mindset, but also offers a life-changing experience.
