Every year, Experience Mamoni provides grants to support low-income, local students from the Las Margaritas and Mamoni Valley communities to get them involved with projects at our rainforest campus, Centro Mamoni. We see them as key members of the community we are building and invaluable to the long term viability of the MVP and Panama’s ecology as a whole.
In addition, over the past 2 years we have been working on a program called Eco-Action, which facilitates cross cultural exchange programs between local students and international schools. The collaboration engages students in eco-minded projects with a mix of cultural activities.
This year we’ve already had a group of teenagers interested in sustainability and conservation spend a week with us learning about permaculture and rainforest ecology interpretation, while of course spending some time swimming in the waterfalls.
Help us grow their love for nature while adding to their skill sets!
